Perpetual Praise

“Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits— who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. The Lord works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭103:1-6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

REFLECTION

In today’s passage, we’re reminded to praise the Lord and not to forget all His benefits. In Christ, there is so much for us to be thankful for. Even when life feels unspeakably hard, we can give thanks and praise the Lord because He promises us “…that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose, because those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.[see Romans 8:28-29 NET]

So let’s stay prayerful and praiseful as we move forward in faith, hope and His unfailing, perfect love.

PRAYER POEM

Loving Lord, I praise You … for You are always perfectly wise, good and true. Thank You so much for all that You do, and that You are with me in everything I go through. Keep me yoked to You, every day, come what may. My soul sings: all praise, honour and glory to the King of kings.
