“We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose. For those whom He foreknew [of whom He was aware and loved beforehand], He also destined from the beginning [foreordaining them] to be molded into the image of His Son [and share inwardly His likeness], that He might become the firstborn among many brethren.” [Romans 8:28-29 AMPC]
REFLECTION
As Christ followers we can confidently continue to pray, praise, ponder His promises and seek to do good, in faith, as we make our way to our perfect heavenly home. Whenever I intentionally shift my focus to Him, His Word and ways, a shift happens within me and my perspective is blessed. My spiritual eyes are opened to see circumstances and deal with difficulties in the bright light of God’s perfect promises, trusting “…that all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose.” So let’s prayerfully move forward, mindful of how blessed we are in Christ, and bless others as we are given opportunity, expecting our living, loving Lord to bless our perspective and work all things together for our good and His glory, in His perfect way and timing. Hallelujah!!
PRAYER POEM
LORD, You are the only perfect One, the only Way — so come what may, help me cleave to You, and pray, praise and ponder Your promises, as I seek to do good, in every way, every day.
