REFLECTION
By God’s amazing grace, I have already experienced a lot of deep healing and have transformed so much, but the transformation process is ongoing while we are on earth (see 2 Corinthians 3:18). God knows when we are really ready to deal with specific issues and our emotions can serve as a kind of divine alarm clock. So, let’s not hit the snooze button and ignore / excuse / dismiss our alarming feelings, but rather take them to the One who made us, and ask our merciful Maker what is really going on. We can trust that the One who went to the cross for us, will indeed help us and give us everything we truly need, in His higher way and perfect timing. Hallelujah!
PRAYER POEM:
LORD, in every moment of every day, You are working wonders in Your mysterious, wonderful way. Make me mindful of Your mercy and move my meandering mind to prayerfully ponder, with awe and wonder, the true meaning of the cross, as You scoop the dross from every dark part of my hurting heart.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
