Gathering Together

We must also consider how to encourage each other to show love and to do good things. We should not stop gathering together with other believers, as some of you are doing. Instead, we must continue to encourage each other even more as we see the day of the Lord coming.” (Hebrews  10:24-25 GW)

REFLECTION

Today’s reflection is in the form of a poem.

Together

Signs, stirrings and undefined yearnings led me to join a place of grace and cultivate a community with which to journey through dark valleys, deep waters, the odd slippery slope and ascend the hill of hope. Each precious person with their own unique point of view, sharing what they know to be true and giving others opportunities to rest and review.

Moving forward in faith,  may we continue to prayerfully explore, and our friendships carefully tend, expectant that our Maker has more for us than we could possibly comprehend. So let’s lean in and learn His ways, spelled out in the sacred scriptures and lived out in love, with our thoughts fixed on things above. We’re in this together, now and forever.

PRAYER POEM: Eternal Light

Jesus Christ …You are our Sovereign Saviour, Living Hope, Holy Knight, Eternal Light in the dark night of the soul, and You alone can make us whole.

In dark valleys of sorrow, we need not despair ~ for You, our Maker, can any heart repair and strengthen us for a better tomorrow.
