“On that day, it will be said to Jerusalem,
‘Have no fear, O Zion,
do not let your hands fall limp.
Adonai your God is in your midst—
a mighty Savior!
He will delight over you with joy.
He will quiet you with His love.
He will dance for joy over you with singing.” (Zephaniah 3:16-17
Tree of Life Version)
Word study: ADONAI
a-do’-ni, ad-o-na’-i (‘adhonay):
A Divine name, translated “Lord,” and signifying, from its derivation, “sovereignty.” Its vowels are found in the Massoretic Text with the unpronounceable tetragrammaton ” YHWH “; and when the Hebrew reader came to these letters, he always substituted in pronunciation the word ” ‘adhonay.” Its vowels combined with the tetragrammaton form the word “Yahweh (Yahweh).” Ref: https://www.biblestudytools.com/encyclopedias/isbe/adonai.html
