REFLECTION

I recently followed though, in faith, with a rather challenging task of preparing for and leading a scriptural meditation experiment at my local church. The entire experience from prayerful preparation and set up to the actual event required faith, effort and courage, and took place outside my comfort zone, as it was something new that I felt led to do with people I didn’t yet know. And now that I’ve finished this particular assignment and I enter the waiting zone, to receive and prayerfully process feedback, I’m reminded that outcomes / results / growth belongs to the Lord. As each person does their part, we need to wait for the Lord to do what only He can do in His higher way and perfect timing. So if / when we feel frustration or impatience try to rise up while we wait, let’s take a deep breath and turn to the Lord in honest prayer and trust Him to help us wait well for the growth that comes from Him.

PRAYER POEM

Loving Lord, You are never late. I ask that You help me wait well, all my fears quell and in Your peaceful presence dwell.
