Matthew 6:19-21 (NIV)
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy and thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
REFLECTION
Aiming to be a good steward of resources is important, but it’s infinitely more important to ” …seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” (Matthew 6:33 ESV). As we make our relationship with the Lord our top priority (the most important thing), the Lord becomes our greatest Treasure.
