By faith [that is, with an inherent trust and enduring confidence in the power, wisdom and goodness of God] we understand that the worlds (universe, ages) were framed and created [formed, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose] by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible. REFLECTION
We are surrounded by God’s glorious handiwork. While reflecting and writing in a pretty park today, I paused to pay attention to the intricate details of a flower beginning to bloom, and I was reminded of God’s incomparable creativity and attention to detail. Our Maker knows and cares about every detail in our lives, and as we actively pursue intimacy with Him, we can experience true transformation and bear eternal fruit. So, let’s draw near to Him and ask Him to help us more deeply trust Him and receive a deeper revelation of His enlightening love, pure power and glorious goodness…that we may live in awe and wonder of who He is and what He makes.
PRAYER POEM: Wonder
Caring Creator ~ as I pause and ponder Your power in the intricate details of a blooming flower, I’m reminded that however I may feel, Your goodness and grace are as real as the wonder of Your wisdom and the beauty You reveal.
