“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” (1 Corinthians 10:31 NIV)
REFLECTION
Whatever can mean “no matter what happens” or it can imply indifference (depending on the tone and context). Ref:https://languages.oup.com/google-dictionary-en
I used to say whatever with a shrug when I felt disillusioned, but now the word is much more meaningful. Whatever happens I pray for grace to seek His face, in honest prayer, wrapped in praiseful trust, revering and trusting Him to help me face reality with courage, doing what I believe He is leading me to do, and trusting Him in the unfolding process. We know in part, but He knows in full…so let’s stay close to Him, trusting Him to provide what we truly need to prayerfully press on, with Him, come what may — for He is forever faithful.
PRAYER POEM
LORD, I love You. Help me to adore You more and honour You in everything I do. I yield to You, as best I currently can, and ask You to teach me Your wonderful ways for the rest of my days.
In Your name, Jesus, amen.
