“Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.]” (John 14:27 AMP)
REFLECTION
What do you exude when you feel pressure? When we squeeze an orange, orange juice should come out. And what is truly in us will come out when pressed. Do you exude peace or panic under pressure? Do you feel calm or chaotic when life accelerates? If we are exuding everything but peace, the good news is that we can turn to The Prince of Peace — Jesus Christ — and be honest about what’s really going on in our hearts and pray for peace, and let His perfect peace calm us as we prayerfully ponder His perfect promises. And as we stay close to Him in the unfolding process, and do what we believe He is guiding us to do, we can trust that He will indeed give us courage and strength for every challenge.
PRAYER POEM
LORD, thank You that irrespective of how we may feel or what we may face, Your amazing grace is sufficient indeed.
Help me to heed all that You have decreed, for You know what I truly need.
