REFLECTION

It seems to me that the more I learn (through reading / study, experience, travel / exploration and interactions with others etc), the more I’m aware of how much I still need to learn and how important it is to stay open and teachable, regardless of age or stage. For there have been many times that I’ve learnt something new and helpful from someone who is decidedly different in their approach to every day life. That said, we’d be wise to listen and learn, but also prayerfully and carefully examine everything that comes our way, and “…hold fast to what is good…” and “…stay away from every form of evil.” (See 1 Thessalonians 5:21-22 NET)

So let’s stay close to our Maker and Teacher, mindful of His Word as we move forward, leaning into His transforming love and staying open to learning together.

PRAYER POEM

Loving Lord ~ I’m eternally grateful for Your amazing grace. Irrespective of position, pace or place, please lead me and teach me as I seek to know and love You and Yours, as we live and learn together, now and forever.
