“For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you.” (Psalm 86:5 ESV)
REFLECTION
Each and every living being breathes by God’s grace. Every good thing we receive is from our merciful and marvellous Maker. Today’s verse reminds us of the glorious goodness of God and highlights the sobering reality that, in His infinite wisdom, He has given us free will. So, irrespective of the realities we need to deal with, let’s keep the eyes of our heart focused on the One who knows and loves us best, and trust Him to do what only He can do, as we call on Him in faith, hope and His steadfast love. Hallelujah!
PRAYER POEM
Loving Lord, I call upon You today and ask that You enable me to stay so sensitive and in sync with You, regardless of what we go through. Empower me to follow through with what You call me to and to perpetually point others to You.
