“He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?” (Romans 8:32 NIV)
REFLECTION
When the everyday details of life become burdensome and stress is surging within and around, let’s not sulk or exacerbate stress by complaining or make ourselves weary with worry. Instead, let’s pause and pray to the only One who can graciously give us all things, even in the midst of discomfort and difficulty. We can trust that the One who gave His only Son to save us will indeed meet every need, in His higher way and perfect timing. So, let’s stay close to Him through it all and trust Him to do what only He can do, in and through us, as we prayerfully press on in Jesus’ name.
PRAYER POEM
Loving Lord, keep me close to You in all that I do and help me trust that, come what may, You, the One with gifts of grace, are indeed with me in every moment of every day, irrespective of what I face.
