REFLECTION
Things can turn so quickly — one moment there is bubbling joy and then with just a momentary mishap, mistake or unexpected issue, we can be tempted to doubt the truth of God’s Word and worriedly wallow in the rough reality of everyday life, as loved but fallible pilgrims in progress. But it need not be so. We need not worry. However life unfolds, we can choose to turn to our infallible, faithful Father, and — by His grace — glean glorious gems of insight, which can be found deep beneath rough reality. Our perfect Prince of Peace does not lie. So, even when reality is rough, we can remain joyfully strong as we move forward in the undercurrent of joy — found in communion with the Lord — and rejoice as we do what needs to be done, “…confident that God is able to orchestrate everything to work toward something good and beautiful …”

PRAYER POEM
LORD, thank You that glorious gifts of grace can be found in every problematic, painful or pleasurable place. Keep me turning to You, mindful of what is true, and remind me to rejoice — choice by choice.
