REFLECTION
Have you ever envisioned a prayerfully prepared plan, only to find yourself deeply discouraged in the unfolding reality? Yup, I’ve been there and it is not a pleasant space to occupy. But, I’m grateful to God for the gritty reality of unexpected valleys because they are flush with gems of insight if we prayerfully pause to dig deeper than surface reality. Whether we find ourselves in marvellous mountaintop moments or in low valleys, let’s detach from discouragement and attach ourselves in honest prayer to our caring Creator, who knows where gems of insight can be found and in whom encouragement abounds.
PRAYER POEM
Loving Lord, You know the depth of why I cry, for You know what I truly need, when and why. So, I turn to You, as I am, for You are the one and only sovereign King and I trust You to bring what will cause my soul to sing.
