“Let me know Your ways, O Lord;
Teach me Your paths.
Guide me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
For You [and only You] I wait [expectantly] all the day long.” (Psalm 25:4-5)
REFLECTION
What a comfort to know that we can ask our merciful Maker to teach and guide us. We can confidently approach His throne of grace because of what Jesus did on the cross of Calvary. So, whether we are high on a mountaintop, low in a valley or wandering around a desert, let’s look to the Lord and wait well, trusting that He hears our prayers and will do wonders in us and through us, in His higher way and perfect timing.
PRAYER POEM
My merciful Maker, You alone know all. Enable me to answer Your call and yield to You all day long, for only You can save me and keep me strong. Teach me to truly trust You and guide me into all that is true and pleasing to You.
