For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11 AMP)
REFLECTION
Every precious person has been wonderfully made by God (see Psalm 139:14). And, as our Maker, He has made it clear that He knows the plans He has for each one of us. So, we can trust that they are perfect plans because the Planner is perfect, and so is His timing.
God’s ways are infinitely higher (see Isaiah 55:8-9) and He is perfectly good and trustworthy at all times, for He does not lie and He knows exactly what is truly needed, when and why. So let’s fix our focus on Him, worship Him and ponder His love letter (His promises) to us. Let’s cultivate gratitude, trusting that His Holy Spirit is working (and will work) wonders within us and through us, as we keep ourselves full of His living and active Word, and prayerfully move forward in faith, hope and His unfailing love.
PRAYER POEM: Focus
Loving Lord ~ fix my focus on You, for Your Word is true, irrespective of what I go through. As I grow in Your glorious grace, may I come to know You more deeply, until I see You face-to-face in that Perfect Place.
