“All who are oppressed may come to Yahweh as a high shelter in the time of trouble, a perfect hiding place. For everyone who knows your wonderful name keeps putting their trust in you. They can count on you for help no matter what. O Lord, you will never, no never, neglect those who come to you. Listen, everyone! Sing out your praises to the God who rules in Zion! Tell the world about all the miracles he has done!”

REFLECTION
Saying I will trust the Lord is one thing, but actually living it out is quite another. When we need to wait for answers to prayer, and wait, and wait… our trust is tested and we have the opportunity to go deeper and allow the Lord to teach us to trust. We can choose to stay close to Him in the time of testing and cultivate confidence in His higher way and perfect timing. Or we can choose to harden in offence, seek superficial quick fixes and false refuges, which never ends well.
However life may unfold, let’s continually turn with tender hearts to our trustworthy, loving Lord – our ever present help – with His words in our hearts and perpetual praise on our lips.
PRAYER POEM: Believe
Lord Jesus Christ, to You I cleave and believe that You know what I truly need and the perfect time to receive.
May every aspect of my life bask and bloom in the light of Your blazing beauty, on Earth and into Eternity.
