“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.” (Lamentations 3:22-23 ESV)
REFLECTION
The KJV Dictionary defines STEADFAST, STEDFAST, a. stead and fast. as follows:
1. Fast fixed; firm; firmly fixed or established; as the stedfast globe of earth.
2. Constant; firm; resolute; not fickle or wavering.
“The only constant in life is change.” This quote (apparently) by Greek philosopher, Heraclitus, has become a common saying. And while it’s certainly true that everyday life is like shifting sand, those of us who are committed to Christ can stand strong on the Rock of our salvation. Regardless of what we may experience, be it jubilant or sorrowful, we can be full of faith, hope and God’s unwavering love in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!
PRAYER POEM
Loving Lord, how great Thou art! I give You every aspect of my heart, and ask that You work wonders in and through me, as I stand strong in Your eternal victory.
