“For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you.” (Psalm 86:5 ESV)
REFLECTION
While I pondering Psalm 86:5, I visualised the Lord radiating light and love with His arms open wide, welcoming me into His comforting embrace. I encourage you to pause, ponder and visualise this verse, open to His Holy Spirit.
Whatever our circumstances or the state we find ourselves in, we can always turn to our marvellous and merciful Maker, and come to more deeply experience His incomparable steadfast love…which then overflows to those around us and impacts every aspect of our lives. Oh, let’s seek to stay so close to our loving Lord, open and willing to cooperate with Him as we navigate the realities of every day life.
PRAYER POEM
LORD, I am forever grateful that You are perfectly faithful and abounding in steadfast love. I look above and come to You as I am, and ask that You reveal Your love to me in a deeper way today.
