REFLECTION

As an unmarried woman, without biological children, I’m a bit like a unicorn amidst horses in the culture I currently find myself in. This particular culture places great importance on marriage and bearing children, and while there is nothing wrong with either, not everyone is called to be married and birth biological children. Staying celibate is currently very easy for me and I believe that God has given me the grace to live this way. I have a unique purpose in Christ, just like every other believer, and yet we are also united in that we are growing together as one body of Christ. So, let’s embrace unity and our individual uniqueness as we move forward by the grace of God.

PRAYER POEM

LORD, You know in full and we know in part. I give You my heart and ask that You enable me to always obey You, come what may, regards of what some may say. I say: have Your way, in and through me, every moment of every day.
