REFLECTION

I am hoping for a lot as life unfolds. And if I’m not prayerful and careful, I can focus too much on what I don’t (yet) have, instead of focusing on what I do have. And sometimes I’m tempted to compare my life / progress to what other people reveal (unaware of what they conceal). But when I intentionally focus on the Lord, stay prayerful and mindful of His Word, and sow seeds of gratitude in my heart…then contentment is cultivated, as I move forward — with the Lord and fellow believers — in faith, hope and love.

Let’s keep our priorities straight and stay close to our marvellous, merciful Maker, who is deeply concerned about every detail of our lives. We can trust His higher ways and perfect timing, for He is always perfectly trustworthy.

PRAYER POEM

LORD, I’m so grateful that You truly care. Help me stay aware of Your goodness and grace, irrespective of how I feel or what I face. Please empower me to persistently pray, praise and be positively proactive every day, come what may.
