REFLECTION
What does it mean to be a follower of the Way?
I believe it means that we seek to wholeheartedly follow Jesus Christ, who said: “…I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”(John 14:6 NIV, emphasis mine)
What does it actually look like to follow Jesus every moment of every day?
I believe it looks like honest prayer and pondering His words — not in a legalistic way, but wholeheartedly seeking to know Him and His way, and experience being deeply known and loved by Him. And as we seek spiritual intimacy with our perfect Provider, we can trust that in His way and timing, living water will well up within us and overflow to meet needs around us, by His glorious grace.
PRAYER POEM
LORD, as I am I yield to You for You are indeed the Way… please show me how I can cooperate with You in every moment of every day.
