REFLECTION
I didn’t sleep well and got up later than planned, which affected all my morning plans. Instead of letting my imperfections drag me down, I decided to drag them to the perfect One in prayer, and I received grace so as to be able to learn from what happened and move forward in a positive and productive way. Instead of giving up and throwing out all my morning plans, I was given wisdom as to how to still do what needed to done in a flexible way throughout the day. Most importantly, I was reminded that we can choose where we fix our focus and that our merciful, marvellous Maker is indeed “…our Refuge and Strength [mighty and impenetrable to temptation], a very present and well-proved help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1 AMPC)
PRAYER POEM
LORD, thank You for helping me deal with daily difficulties and for fuelling my faith as I persevere and follow through, with You. Help me stay close to You in every moment of every day, come what may.
